Selection Criteria Preparation

Call us today on 1300 723 735

The preparation of selection criteria can be a challenging and difficult task. Many potential applicants are put off or deterred from applying for positions because of this process. A lack of understanding of the process and what the selection panel is looking for adds to the level of difficulty.

Since beginning to prepare selection criteria it became quickly apparent that there were a few key principles that people lacked when preparing their criteria. Not knowing how to present information, in what format and structure would often let people down in the selection process. Now as a direct result we have a structure that focuses on your individual strengths and can be applied, adapted and changed to suit individuals at all levels.

Securing a Government position can be challenging. You have a small window of opportunity through which you can deliver your message to the selection panel. This process begins with your application package and especially your selection criteria. The application package is the platform through which you will begin your claim against the position.

Our primary goal in the preparation of selection criteria for clients has been the presentation of material to ensure that you are assessed on merit rather than your ability to prepare criteria. This can be a long term process however it is worth the effort.

Over the years The Writing Wizards has helped thousands of clients with this process. We now operate at a success rate of 77% based on figures from January to June 2005. Our commitment to continual improvement and willingness to work with clients in achieving results has been mutually beneficial.
